  1. Parental involvement is a critical part of the education process. What kind of questions will be included on these surveys? I am sure there will be some resistance from students about their parents being involved. So, these parents are actually going to be in the classroom? That is they way I am reading the third "Evaluation" box. Either way, it might be beneficial to have an accountability system where students have their parents sign their homework once a week or show that they have been involved. It might help to set up study groups so that parents could take turns helping a group of students. This will be an interesting situation to analyze depending on the atmosphere and willingness of the families in your community. I would promote this in a positive light with optimistic communication that encouraged everyone along the same path. Best of luck!

  2. You have almost no detail in your plan. What are your questions? What parts of parent involvement will you be researching? What is your end-game goal? How will you be using and/or sharing your plans?

  3. Some general knowledge will come out strictly in your responses received from parents on the survey you administer. I would recommend documented the response rate / time from the parent survey. As said in previous posts, some of the particulars are vague on your ARP; you may wish to consult with either administrators or teacher cohort on some of the specific questions / data you wish to obtain.

  4. Parent involvement is such am important role in student success. I feel as though you and I have the same problem. What I am referring to is having a hard time putting it on paper. I am wondering how you will use the data? Are you giving your self a time line to have all this done? How did you choose that time line? How will you be tracking your data? Do you know what your interview questions are going to be yet? Thanks for sharing. I am going to revise mine some as well.
